Drawing on a successful career as a communications officer in the US Army, Michael Henry served as technical director at the Department of Defense (DOD) for 16 years, beginning in 2007. In this role, Michael Henry led and managed DOD projects with multiple government and industry partners to solve global communications problems.
Mr. Henry’s role with the DOD involved supporting SOCOM integration efforts while also identifying, demonstrating, and delivering emerging combat technologies to larger general-purpose forces. He developed numerous skills in this role, including crisis management, systems and data integration, personnel management, and communication and problem-solving.
Today, Mr. Henry serves as CEO of the Industrial Communications Group (ICG), a company that provides businesses with fully integrated, comprehensive global communications solutions. The company specializes in implementing communications capabilities in harsh terrain and congested environments. He helps align a winning strategy with business needs to deliver fully integrated communications solutions that enable data analytics, increase operational efficiency, improve return on investment, and enhance personnel performance.
In addition to a decorated career in the military and the DOD, Mr. Henry's credentials include a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
